Lycée Saint-Exupéry

Lycée Saint-Exupéry is an upper secondary school with approximately 1800 students and 200 staff in Blagnac close to the Toulouse final assembly facilities of Airbus. The Lycée offers a wide variety of education with vocational programs as well as general theoretical programs. The vocational courses with 600 students are oriented towards manufacturing, industrial maintenance and aerospace technology. The aeronautical sections are recognized by the E.A.S.A (European Aviation Safety Agency) under the approval FR147.0026.

The school is connected to more than 140 companies in the region and is constantly developing its cooperation with local industry.

The school also offers commissioned VET-training for local industry. The physical environment of the school’s teaching areas is identical to real-life production facilities. Consequently the Lycée is able to offer in-house VET-placements with teacher support. In addition, the school has a well-developed organizational framework for educational management and the democratic inclusion of staff, students and parents. The organizational framework furthers the schools goal of a high level of achievement of educational objectives. All educational programs are involved in international cooperation. Three of them with schools in Västeras, the others are with schools in England, Germany, Spain, Brazil and Mexico.
